Märraum are a leading architect based in Cornwall. They were looking to partner with a trusted agency to audit both their SEO and PPC presence. The team had extensive digital knowledge in-house, so our role was to act as an extension of this – providing consultancy and strategy to enhance activity.

Our Strategy

Märraum’s focus was on driving localised traffic for the Cornwall region, so our research focussed on this. We performed a full website audit and PPC audit, using insights software to competitor benchmark and highlight website issues which needed fixing.

PPC

The brand were running an Adwords Express campaign, which gave no granular control over optimisations. We restructured the account, creating localised campaigns to focus on Cornwall and Truro Architect terms. Using best-in-class techniques, we’ve optimised the account to improve performance on an ongoing basis.

SEO

We audited the website and created an in-depth strategy, focussing initially on the website errors and warnings which needed fixing. We also identified priority areas to improve visibility including building out landing page content to target key terms, defining a blog strategy and refreshing the onsite techniques of the website. Märraum wanted to understand more about the way users interacted with their website, so we installed heatmapping on key pages to analyse behaviour.

As a result, Märraum asked us to continue working on their campaign in the long-term and support them in implementing the strategy.
