Peaky Digital’s Charity of the Year: Supporting Penryn & Falmouth Foodbank in 2025

At Peaky Digital, we’re always looking for ways to make a meaningful impact on our community, and as we begin 2025, I’m thrilled to announce that our Charity of the Year is Penryn & Falmouth Foodbank.

This charity partnership is particularly important to us as food bank usage in the South West is at an all-time high. In fact, food parcel distribution in the region has risen by a staggering 62% since 2019. The latest figures also show that one in five parents in the South West have struggled to feed their children in the past year. This sobering reality made it clear that supporting Penryn & Falmouth Foodbank was a cause we wanted to champion this year.

Penryn & Falmouth Foodbank does essential work by providing emergency food to individuals and families in crisis. They offer not just food, but also a lifeline to help people get back on their feet. The foodbank works with a network of volunteers to ensure that no one in need goes without support, and they are always looking for ways to increase their impact and reach even more people who are struggling.

As part of this partnership, we’ll be providing Penryn & Falmouth Foodbank with digital marketing support, including help with their social media and digital strategy. We’re committed to ensuring their message reaches as many people as possible, helping them connect with those in need and raising awareness about the invaluable services they provide. We’re also excited to get involved with volunteering and fundraising efforts throughout the year – it’s a cause we all care deeply about, and we can’t wait to roll up our sleeves and get hands-on.
